I will preface this with yhe fact that I have had an inordinate amount of issues with these lights. I’m any case, they have bee functioning properly since September only for me to come home today and they are beeping. I’ve checked the app and for the life of me can’t figure out why they are beeping. They won’t stop. Anyone else have these issues?

I believe @TheLadyCrash had the same issue a while back, let's see if she'll chime in with what was wrong with hers :)

I have 3 running (1 parent and 2 "children") and the Parent beeps at least 1-2 times an hour. With 3 blue leds blinking. The paperwork that came with the lights says parent is searching for the network. BUT, if I log on with my iphone and stay connected it still beeps....Not sure whats going on there. So I'll be interested to hear feed back on this as well. Other than this though, I like the lights and haven't had any major problems in the 14 months I've been running them.

So--- embarrassingly, I figured out the beeping source. It was the gyre unit submerged directly below the light. Something was stuck. I disassembled and reassembled and then reset everything and the beeping stopped. I did contact AI in between writing this post and fixing the issue, they claim that they have never heard of one of their lights beeping before (which in my case makes sense), but I wanted to let others know, since this seems to be an issue others are having anyway. I am having a separate issue with the AI hydras-- the red LED seems to display differently across the parent-child combo. I have them paired and have been replaced twice by AI already. The diodes were fine from September up until recently. Maybe this should be a different post, in any case wanted to let you know the resolve.

Glad you got it figured out :)

I know the issue has been figured out, but in the event this could be of further help to someone, it was an issue within the unit. AI sent me a new one since it was still in warranty.
