I have 2 used but in perfect working condition AquaLogic temperature controllers. These are both single stage units, TR115SN & EC115R. 115SN is the regular one rated up to 9.8 amps but rewired with a 3-outlet bar for multiple fans or heaters without the need for an outlet tap and the 115R is the heavy duty one rated up to 18 amps and comes factory with 12g wiring. (115R has the relay box attached and can control 3/4 hp chillers or large wattage heaters)
These controllers are rated NEMA 4x and are outdoor friendly (water resistant, not waterproof) and I prefer them over the Ranco especially with the replaceable titanium encapsulated temperature probe and are more then double the cost of Rancos when purchased new. (I've thrown out many Rancos with the dreaded E2 error)
The 2 controllers are spot on with their temperature readings based on my recent testing (temperature cannot be calibrated on these or Ranco units) from taking them out of storage, they are a few years old.
TR115SN with multiple outlets- $65 shipped 48 states
EC115R - $95 shipped 48 states
Pics of the two controllers, modified orange wiring is the TR115SN and yellow plug/relay box is the EC115R:

Pics showing that there are no E2 error and also temperature readings from a tank that is known to be at 78 degrees:

Additional verification from a handheld Hanna tester:
