Aquamars 165W 55 led light on 46G bow front

Been a long time since I've reefer and decided to get back into it. Tomorrow I pick up a 46 gallon bow front that comes with only 1 165 watt 55 led unit. I've researched it a bit and see the full spectrum specs and 90 to 120 degree set up. My question is... will this light along be enough to feed corals? It hangs a bit above the tank and is 24 inches wide so I think with the degree of led that it will cover the tank but I kind of feel like it won't be enough for most coral. Thanks in advance and look forward to posting more that I'm back to the saltwater world.

Should ne enough for lps and softies. Probably sps also.

Plenty of power for corals. However there likely won’t be 100% coverage. One way to fix that is take the lenses off but then you lose par. I tested mine with a par meter and without lenses it maxes at about 200-250 par at the top of the tank at 100% both channels.

I'm thinking that I'll need to set up my rock in the center of the tank in hopes that I can get it to spread out to the sides enough for now. The tank is 36" wide and the light is 24" so I was really hoping it would make up the 6" I'm missing on either side. I'll post pictures tomorrow. I live so far away from any LFS so getting a par meter is out of the question for now.

Been running them since 2016. Grows everything, SPS, LPS and softies very well.

I have 3 165w units over my 6ft 125. They are 12" of the water surface. 70% blues and 20% whites. I did pull most of my lenses to get better coverage.

Thank you and your welcome. I'm going to reset it soon to become more of a acro dominant tank.

Pulling lenses is easy and will help coverge. They will grow anything.
