Good morning. Was wondering how those of you with a manifold do the "hanging" reactors? I have seen people do it with the Aquamax. But curious what fittings you used? I can only find the barb fittings for soft hose.

Bump

I'm looking at this model. It looks like people thread PVC into the cap to hang it and run water, instead of soft lines?

I dont think so, in the pictures ive seen they actually have it hooked to PVC
This is what I use. I have similar adaptors on the manifold valves and use 1/2 in. or sometimes 1/4 in. Polyethylene tubing to connect the valve to the reactor. It looks clean, easy to install and maintain. I don't recall seeing anyone use hard pvc at a reactor fitting before, and can't think of any advantage to doing that for this particar purpose.

I like hard PVC plumbing but the reactor needs to be removeable for service so rigid PVC is just not the right material for that.
