Aquamaxx 1.5 HOB Microbubbles

Does anyone have tips on removing the Aquamaxx 1.5's microbubbles? I have read through a lot of the posts on here and seems like there might not be a good way. I have had it running for just shy of 3 weeks and still have microbubbles. Seems to be coming from the output. I have looked into the bubble stopper sold on BRS, but that looks like it might be for large bubbles. Any advice before I go buy a different skimmer helps! Thanks

It takes a long time to break in , in my experience

Wait it out. I just cleaned mine and it took a couples weeks to settle back down again.
