Has anyone found a way to tighten the adjuster on the skimmer? it moves sooooooo easy that it is constantly going out of each time im back there doing something.was thinking about just duct taping it haha its out of the water so why not.
Second, despite everyone saying how quiet it is mine definitely hums/vibrates and was wondering if anyone has made any rubber feet for the skimmer? was thinking about supergluing something onto the feet but don't know what to use.

You can set the skimmer under a mouse pad. As far as the adjuster, you can try wrapping the threads with ptfe tape to make it a little tighter.

Nothing to worry about the mouse pad leaching? I would do the ptfe route but you can't actually get to the threads and the adjuster won't completely unscrew to expose them.

I've had a mouse pad under my pump for at least 10 years now. You can also use a thin foam pad under it, a piece of pond liner, sponge pads, etc. As far as the skimmer, if you can't get to the threads, can you get to the hole that it threads into? Maybe you can do something with that.
