Has anyone used this skimmer before, I just upgraded my tank and really need to find a skimmer for a heavy stocked 600 gallon tank. Your input would greatly be welcomed. I had a 225 tank before the upgrade and was running a bk 200 deluxe but it is only rated for about 400 gallons. Thoughts on a good skimmer? I have about a $1,000.00 budget.

Check out the 12" Tunze DOC Skimmer 9430 DC...at $751 this seems like a deal:

Or their next step up, the Master DOC Skimmer 9480....which is probably too big....as well as $1400.

hi, i just got the Cones-CO3 but i find it very loud, especially around the air silencer. also, how deep is your water depth?
