Hey guys,
So I just started planning my next build. It'll be a 75 Gallon standard tank with a trigger systems ruby 36 sump. This will also be the sump running a 24x24x8 Frag tank from advanced acrylics. I figured my total water volume after rockwork and sand will be about 110 gallon. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Aquamaxx EM300 will fit into the ruby 36 sump. The sumps skimmer section is 12 inches x 14.5 inches but has 2 filter socks. The EM300 is 9.1"x13".

I think It would fit, very tight, but fit. Does anyone have this config in their tank? I chose the em300 over the 200 because I want a skimmer I can upgrade into since when find permit I would like a 125/180 gallon aquarium.

That's a nice skimmer choice! May I ask where you're getting it? I'm looking for the EM500

Marine Depot and bulk reef supply both have them in Stock right now. I see this as the best skimmer I can buy in my price range.
