AquaMaxx HF-M Hang-On-Back??!!!

I am really interested in this AquaMaxx HF-M Hang-On-Back Multi Filter with Protein Skimmer for my 40 gal breeder with soft coral and 6 fish. Anybody have an opinion? I currently have a penguin bio wheel 350. I been going back and forth on a hob skimmer. That is why I am interested in the aquamaxx hf-m.

Hello, I too have a 40 gallon breeder barebottom with no sump with 7 chromis, 2 firefish, 1 tail spot blenny. I have a dominated LPS euphyllia tank. I have a diy air stone protien skimmer and chaeto on my aquaclear 110. I have to dose Nitrates and Phosphates everyday to keep it detectable.

So you turned your Acua clear into a refugium? And how did you make a diy air stone skimmer?
