Aquamaxx hob 1.5 pump upgrade

Does anybody have a recommendation for a quieter pump that is easy to switch out on the aquamaxx 1.5 hang on skimmer?

The pump itself is a little noise via vibration, but also it seems like the skimmer is gurgling overly aggressive.

agree that machine is overly loud, would love a solution to quiet it down, if its possible. Its a great machine, but I'm seriously thinking of replacing it just because of the noise level. I've had it about a 1.5 years now

As for the gurgling you can put a ping pong ball in the tube that comes out of the water. And on the silencer you can attach another silencer, or just tape it shut, that lessens the overall noise slightly. Very slightly.
