i have my skimmer return going into a return pump chamber on a JBJ 28G, the splashing is a bit loud, anyone use this have suggestions? Buy a longer pipe and direct it under the surface? Other than the splash it’s totally silent

I think the solution you describe should work. Another option is to use flexible tubing so you can remove it if later if for some reason you need to use the skimmer without it. Do you know the size of the output PVC?

i know this is an old thread, but did you get rid of the tee and just use an elbow and a piece of pvc? im wondering why they have the tee anyway, is it in case something clogs the return? this skimmer seems like it will work great it just loud.
