Aquamaxx HOB 1 skimmer weird problem - video

I have a fairly new Aquamaxx HOB1. Im having a major issue where the exit chamber will go high and then low level and when its low level, it will cause air to exit out of the exit tube making more bubbles and noise. I have tried cleaning the pumps, tubes, and everything with no help.

Any idea what is causing this issue?

Your exit chamber is different i havr the T-pipe. What's happening is that your exit chamber is starting a full siphon but the water flow isnt enough to sustain it so it breaks. What you can do is drill a small hole on top of the grey angle connection so it wouldnt siphon what is inside the skimmer. It'll flow gently

Check the angle that the skimmer is sitting on the tank (front to back). I see it's pulling air from the skimmer body. Mine did the same until I adjusted the angle of the body. You do also have a different pipe set up as me as well. I have a T up top and a 90 underwater for the return.

Thanks. The angle of the body is straight. I had to remove the "T" since it wouldn't allow my hood to open. I did drill a small hole on the elbow so hopefully this will solve the problem. Thanks for the suggestions.
