Aquamaxx HOB pump no workie

So I picked up a skimmer used from ebay. Been using it a few weeks and turned it off Friday after dosing Fritz. Went to turn it on last night and pump won't kick on. I pulled the pump apart and the needle wheel will turn if i take the cover off, but with the cover on it doesn't Any ideas?

Make sure that your impellers shaft is not froze inside, when you put the cover back on.


Take it all apart and soak all the parts in vinegar.
