My shark 2.0 went out. Looks like the inside melted. Not sure why it ran until it stopped. I've checked a few places and only seem to find them around 200 bucks. Anywhere that's cheaper? Thanks.

Did you try Marine Depot? They are the primary supplier of Aquamaxx products.

Marine depot was where I originally checked. Looks like I just might be out of $200.

I'm gonna try that. I'm needing the shark 2.0.

I was just talking with someone the other day how AquaMaxx skimmers aren't made to last. They're made for you to buy replacement parts. Because the pump is a "modified" Sicce, it costs a lot more. If you're spending that much anyway, it may be worth it to buy an Icecap Skimmer that's made better and uses a standard Sicce PSK pump. The equivalent is $350 for a whole new skimmer & pump.

Contact Aquamaxx directly though. Not MD for warranty help. Their customer service is great

If you Are interested I have it for sale for 80 shipped just thought I would throw it out there see if it might help
