Aquamaxx Skimmer Impeller Double Failure

Public service message I guess. Pulled the impeller today on my Aquamaxx ConeS CO-3 today for cleaning. Split with a little rust showing. Went and got my back up ConeS CO-2 and checked the magnet before installing, it's got a crack down the length. So I looked up the price of the CO-3 impeller, and it's $75. Impeller lasted just under 12 months (not under warranty, skimmer set boxed for a while). No thanks. Will be shopping for a different brand tonight.

Dang. I jus cleaned and inspected my AquaMaxx skimmer last night too. No issues with mine thankfully, but I will definitely start keeping an eye on it.

FYI, AquaMaxx and MD have excellent customer service.... you might try reaching out to them.
