Aquamaxx Skimmer question

I have the 1.5 aquamaxx skimmer and i just noticed that the part that holds it up since it's a HOB has broken and I can move it around. Is it possible to just replace just that piece? I'd rather not have to buy another skimmer since the skimmer works just fine....i've attached a picture of what i'm talking about has broken.

Marine Depot sells a replacement body. On mine the part that you show is bonded to the body.

Oh yes, you can fix that easy. If you can find weld on for acrylic, it will really glue it back together properly. Don't be tempted by super glue of other solvents, you just really want weld-on here. Some home depots carry it and it's the proper way to fix this.

I used Scigrip 16 to solvent weld the mounting plate on the one I had years ago. Just be careful to not over tighten the screws. That is the Achilles heel of that skimmer. You are not alone in over torquing the screwsnand having that plate pop off.
