Aquamedic evo 5 doser, any good?

I have been using a Jabeo WiFi 4 channel doser for over a year now and it has done the job however I've ran into 2 fellow reefers who's units malfunctioned and dumped 2 part into their systems killing everything. This makes me scared

So I thought I would not chance it and upgrade to a new doser. The aquamedic evo range seem popular and I'm in the need of 5 channels now.

Has anyone used the aquamedic bevo range of dosers, in particular the evo 5? They seem cheap...

My other option within a reasonable budget is the dd h2ocean doser which is almost twice the price of the aquamedic.

Is the aquamedic really half the quality?
