Hey guys. Just seeing what the best material to use on the back of my reef tank? I really like the material that the companies use but wasn't sure what it was. Hope someone can help. Thanks guys!
 
Have you considered painting the back? Sorry, I don't know what the specific material is that is used but I would assume any laminated paper would work.
 
I used spray paint on mine.
I imagine almost any water proof material would work though :)
 
Paint it black...Krylon Fusion works well.

p.s. Paints will scrape of easily if you decided to change it sometime. Stick on films can be difficult to get on without bubbles that look like...well...you know.

Might have to call around to some local sherwin William stores but you can find it
