I have an aquarium that has suffered some bottom and top brace damage. The outer glass measurements are 48 x 18 inches exactly. I have looked and looked and am not finding replacements. I can do a euro brace for the to of the aquarium but I am not sure how to fix the bottom brace. Any ides or suggestions?

Is it a 75 gallon or 90 gallon? I have a 90 gallon of those dimensions built by Allglass and due to the nonstandard "nominal" dimensions I can't find a replacement brace either. The bottom brace doesn't do much, its the bottom glass pane and silicone joints that takes up all loading at the bottom, however for the top, its needed to prevent bowing. A single strip of glass in the center "Euro style" would be just fine. I think what I am going to do with my 90 gallon with damaged braces is cut it down in height and turn it in to a shallow frag tank, then there would be no need for braces at all.

Hi It's a 75 gallon and I finally found a company (glasscages) that carries the frames. I could do eurobrace but for the price being comparable I feel more secure using a frame that was purpose built especially since I have 2 drilled holes at the bottom that would impede putting new glass to brace
