Is there any brand you guys recommend?
I saw the "ice cap" ones that look like a computer fan but I want something to be able to put over my sump. The Pc looking ones don't have a holder.
The zoo med aqua cool people say it's for small tanks and my is 100 gallon + sump.
The Tunze with two fans people complained that it was way too weak to lower any tank temperature.

Thank you.

I use a small desk fan I got from staples on my 50g cube. The thing moves a lot of air. Be creative. I also use computer fans on my display that I got from frys. You can buy a kit that allows you to piggy back up to 4 fans to a wall input

Not really, definitely quieter than the chiller, which is why I had to get these after the wife complained. I have them them connected to my apex, and they only turn on after the water hits a certain temp.

Cool! I want to plug the fan to my apex too so when the temp gets too high it will turn the fans on.
Do you have yours mounted on the sump or on the display tank?

I mounted mine on the display. Doesn't look horrible. Will try and snap a few photos when I get home from work :)

This is what I use....

I bought a Walmart clip on 5" desk fan for like 8 bucks. And a cheap indoor timer for 3 bucks for my 40 gal. Works like a charm have it alternating every hour. And best thing is it is exceptionally quiet.

I use a computer fan. As you said, they don't have a holder so I hang mine with fishing line from the inside of my stand. All the computer fans have screw holes in each corner, so by using a couple of lines I was able to tweak the height it hangs above my sump and also the angle that it pointed.

The WalMart clip on fans are around $10, have two speeds, are silent and last for years. You can't beat them! Back when I was using MH and VHO lighting I would keep one clipped on the edge of my sump so it blew across the longest surface and it couled very easily lower the tank temperature 5 degrees or more in no time at all. I eventually put it on an appliance timer or it would cool too much and cause massive evaporation. When it was on the timer it started the same time as the lights and ran about an hour afterwards before shutting off and it was perfect.

Effective. Loud! Sixteen inches, because the smaller ones just don't do anything; on the display because there not enough surface area in the sump.
