I just started a tank its fully cycled and ready for fish. I plan on starting with two clown fish. I know they don't need an anemone to survive, but I would like to see them host one. I know I need to wait months before getting one. So does anyone know a place I could get a fake one that's safe for the fish. I read alot of reviews, and on some of them say they loose color and smell toxic. I don't want to take a chance. Thanks

A torch coral is a good substitute :) they even pack a nice sting just like a nem lol.

Are they hardy the tank just cycled its 90 gallons with a sump refugium and protein skimmer and gfo/carbon reactor. And miracle mud. Also just t 5 lighting

It should be ok. I've had them growing under t8s before.
They're pretty hardy, but you still need to keep parameters in check as they can die off pretty quickly.
There's a few other options out there for anemone substitutes, but it depends on what clowns you have. Some will host anything, some won't.
