Hey everyone! I recently got back into reefing and I’ve gone from a 55 Gallon down to a Coralife 32 Biocube. I bought a FreeSea heater off Amazon and when I put in the return chamber, it started causing condensation. I only had the temperature set to 78, but the water seemed much hotter than that. It was fine when I put it in the display. Is it normal to cause condensation and such hot water in the 3rd chamber?

Condensation where? I'm not familiar with that brand of heater, but it sounds like you're getting the best results from positioning it in the display area.

Can't speak to the 32, but I had a 29, and the heater would die if I put it in the return area. That's the first to evaporate. I had to put mine in the display, altough I think a smaller heater could fit in the middle of the sump.

Also, I ran it without a top, so evaporation loss was probably way higher than with the lid on.
