For my new ELOS 120 build I'm trying to decide if a lid is necessary. While I don't like the look of a lid on a rimless tank most people I hear from say most fish will try to jump out at some time.

For those that have lids what brand do you think looks the best and is still easy to access the tank for feeding, maintenance, etc.?

If you don’t mind spending a little Artfully Acrylic make very nice mesh tops. You can order them to suit your needs with feeding slots etc. I personally went for the basic unit as it was the cleanest design for my RSR250. It cost me as much to ship it to Australia as it did to buy it (-;

I have a lid for 2 reasons. 1 to stop fish from jumping out and 2, to minimize the amount of water that will evaporate.

I ordered an acrylic sheet on amazon and did my own DIY screen net

I also have the Artfully Acrylic lid......keeps the rimless look while also keeping the fish inside (yes, I lost several fish before breaking down and purchasing a lid :()
