Hello everyone,

Was hoping to get some input on lighting for frag tanks 18 inches high, 24 inches wide but 84 inches long.
Doing a little bit of everything per coral wise. The top contenders I was thinking about.

1. GHL mitra
2. Kessil
3. Reef Fi uno

But was hoping to get some input from people who have used them.

Thanks

All good options. I do love my kessil lights. For best results though you may want to consider T5

Between the three you listed, Kessil would have the worse coverage with its small single light source.

I have Reefi UNO 2.0s and they’re great. I hear good things about Mitras, they will work fine for you.

Any of the three fixtures would be awesome with T5. Especially if you start getting more into SPS.

I love mine too best lights I’ve ever had. Have two over my 40G tank and bought two more to go on the upgraded 5ft tank I’m moving everything into soon.

Have you considered 2x reefbreeders photon 32? This is the led fixture battle corals uses for their frag tanks

Each fixture’s Coverage Area:
SPS: 36" x 24"
Mixed Reef: 40" x 24"
Softy/FOWLR: 44" x 24"

So two fixtures cover 72 inches for sps, but you would have some space in between them which would then cover the tank end to end and front to back

The uno 2 pro is a great led but I believe the coverage area is 24x24, so you would need three of them

IMO both would be great options for that dimension tank

Kessil color blend is my favorite but not the greatest spread. I run Radions but I want to try out the Mitras with a similar size tank.
