Aquarium Lighting

With the addition of @Dana Riddle to the community we have created a new lighting specific forum. We still have the LED Lighting specific forum and will keep that as is for now. General lighting threads usually have been created in the general equipment forum but now will have it's on forum. We will begin to move lighting threads to this new forum.

Please post all lighting specific topics accordingly!

My coralife trichromatic 6500k f30-t8-bp 36" bulb just went dead. What would people suggest I get to replace it? I cant seem to find the same bulb so something similar will do that I can get quickly

3-90 light bars (sky blue and blue combo or pair of Ai Hydra 26 or 32hd

Tr
I see those but am looking at a bulb to just fit in my current fixture
Try live aquaria, AquaCave.com and ebay as these bulbs are less common

Yes even though I am not sure why its listed as 25x36. I have a 46 bow so wouldnt mind getting a newer light system to upgrade my existing hood but would want it to fit the length of the tank

Is this a reef tank?

Anyone use Noopsyche k7 11? I am running the lps mode and was recently given the schedule by noopsyche manufacturer in China. Couldnt get it from USA and had I of known what it was I would have switch back when I got well!

Long story but was very sick and heading to hospital and lost the program some how and couldnt remember what I was running, so just quickly set LPS.

I actually thought it was high par because it was shutting of with whites on.

The schedule is as follows
0.01 whatever that is! there is no such military time

Channels 1 wh 2 bl 3 bl 4 uv 5 r/g mix
0.01 0 0 0 0 0
9000 0 10 10 2 0
1000 1 30 30 5 2
1100 3 60 60 8 0
1800 1 50 50 5 0
1900 0 50 50 3 0
2359 0 0 0 0 0

I recently bought a par meter and found out that my corals are mostly sitting in lower par then they require. Cant believe this is an LPS schedule!

I dropped my meter in tank for a sec and its a goner LOL. Waiting for a new one to arrive and super ticked at my self but I do know from notes that my par for the majority of the time is always below 100 like an example torchs at 82 and hammers 65 @1;45 pm 10:35am hammer torches 70 ect

I know the smart thing to do is bump it up slowly but the problem is its a 14 hours schedule! So that makes me wonder if it better to run lower par for longer periods or change it complety to 12 hour like I was running before and bump up the par more!

Before I changed it I ran 12 white and 72 blues and same uv. There lps schedule runs low uv though.

I have a huge order coming in in a little over a week. Timing really bad but they been holding my order since feb before I knew my par was low! Last order that came in I did have some die might be from this schedule so I dont want to loose this 1,8k order! Definitely lower par corals did better! Like acans and blasto ect but I have hammers and torches.

Advice please.

Love to hear from some noopsyche k7 pro 11 people. No one seems to answer my posts!
