My LFS just got a new type of light in and reviews look pretty good so I’m considering upgrading from my Chinese box lights... would two of these be efficient enough lighting for my 110-x high reef tank? The price seems too good to be true on this site. Tank is 30 inches deep.

The k7 Pro2 is a fantastic light and worth every penny except I would order them from an authorized Noopsyche dealer or from Noopsyche themselves.
The problem I see with your tank is that its 30in high and as long as you are not keeping sps at lower depths then you should be fine.
https://www.noopsycheusa.com/ This is the website for Noopsyche.

@Manose or anyone who can answer...Are the k7 Pro2 better than Chinese Mars blackbox for color and growth of SPS?

That's a loaded question.

It all depends on the settings, which black box and several other factors.

IME you can get just as good of growth and color from the K7s as any light I have tried. Better than many.

To me, the advantage over most black box lights is control and easier mounting options.

Also, try getting any kind of support on most of the black boxes. It's non-existent.

The advantages to black boxes are cost and you can customize the leds to your liking.

I had two type of Viparspectra (VS) before the K7 and don't get me wrong, those VS can grow corals like crazy but the K7 has a better design and controllability than the VS. Love the fact that I can do a nice sunrise and sunset with the K7 while I can't with the VS. Also the light spectrum is a lot better in the K7 than the VS.
Overall.... K7 wins.. :)

I have the hybrid I win with 3 k7 pro 2 and I have SPS dominant tank and it at75%
90 gal and it plenty of light
Great light IMO. This is with t5 hybrid and the K7 on.

That dosnt sound good! Arent the LEDs them selves better? Supposed to be osram and other internal parts?

I am a suscriber to your your channel and had no idea you are also from Tampa! Seminole Heights born and raised! Been living Lutz LandoLakes for 30 plus years. I wanted to know what your settings are on the noop in your videos. Very nice, little heavy on blue without being to much! How is the built in one coming along? Finished yet? I have a bathroom behind my big family room wall and no one uses it much since its the 3rd bathroom and kids moved out but I had a huge drywall area built around my fireplace and sized one of the openings for the tv. Of corse this was b4 I became a reefer! Wish I could decide that over again! I would do just wha t you are doing! My tanks are in my office now and the kitchen. I only have a 36 spaced wall available in there now and hubby wants to put a fresh one there :(

Nice! Does that add a lot of heat? My tank is at 78 to 80 with no heater most of the year being I am in Florida!

Yes the components are better.

I was just pointing out pros and cons.

I am running 5 on a 240 mixed reef and love them
