Aquarium near Paddington Station

Hi all,

I've got a long layover at Heathrow in August so I'm spending a night near Paddington Station. I'm wondering if there's a good aquarium (for buying things) or pet shop in the area that's decent where I might be able to purchase some stuff (most of the imported stuff and European brands are really pricey in Japan where I live) for my aquarium.

Most seem to be at least a mile away.

I don’t think you’ll find anything reef oriented in central London. I do recall walking by one or two freshwater shops in Bethnal Green (in East London).

The only reef shop I’ve been to out there was Aquatic Design Centre (to ask about some ReefFactory products), which is about a hour by underground from Paddington. It’s a nice shop, but not as extensive as some shops here in greater NYC Metro.

Otherwise, London is one of my favorite cities (alongside Tokyo!).

I don't mind going for a short walk, it looks like there is lot's of things to see in that area.
