So getting a new toy is always exciting. Let alone a brand new $300 toy. So hooking it up to my Cylinder and Ca reactor,doing what the back of the box says, the regulator passes the bleed test. Great!!! Time to fire her up!

Nothing happens. Check again and again. Thought it was the power supply, but it's not because the power supply works on my newborn's wipes warmer.

I got a dud regulator.

Luckily for me, the inventor and the whole sales staff at AP IS rectifying the situation for me and sending me a replacement, free of charge. That's the level of service I expect from an American based company with American made products.

I will update this thread when I receive the new unit and I hope and pray it works!!!

Update!!! I got a new regulator from AP and it works! The bubble count is a little off from the knob and the actual bubble counter on the reactor.

AP did the job by getting me a new one, little questions asked and after trying to troubleshoot with me over the phone.

I hope this turns out to be the investment I really needed. Tired of finicky regulators.

-AP: good guys to work with, American made product and after purchase support is top notch.
-product design is great.
-first unit was flawed
-replacement unit has a minor flaw: knob doesn't correspond to actual light count or true bubble count: minor flaw.

Comes with nice check valve, permaseal, and nice tubing.
