I just had the most pleasant experience with Mark, at Aquarium Plants.com. It was 9:45 PM Eastern time here. I sent an email to their web site and sent a question about a perceived malfunction I was having with my Carbon Doser. Immediately, I received a response from Mark. He gave me his phone number and told me to call him.
I had explained my situation in the email. Mark proceeded to talk me through testing several stages of the unit. To my surprise, What I thought was a malfunction, was actually the unit working flawlessly, as it should. I changed a setting on it and changed the cylinder previous to what I thought was a malfunction. It wasn't even a case of operator error but more a case of operator ignorance!
I wanted to post this for two reasons. First to give Mark and the guys n gals at Aquarium Plants.com a huge THANK YOU! That is unparalleled customer service. You guys ROCK! Where else are you going to get a vendor to say "Call me" at 10 PM? Secondly, I think that most of us will question ourselves before we blame a vendor for our perceived problem. Those of you who don't...think about it! Happy reefing!
