Aquarium Positioning

What’s the best tank layout for me?

  • Cube Seam angle to come out of corner.

  • Cube angled so a face is pointed out of the corner.

  • Rectangle tank angled out of the corner(face pointed outside corner)

  • Just find a big corner tank and wait. It will be worth it.

I am deciding if a corner aquarium, cube, or a rectangle long tank angled in the corner(gap behind the tank) is best for my situation. Approximately have 4 foot-ish clearance from corner going each way.

I like the idea of a cube but hate a seam coming out towards the main viewing spot.

Would love a corner tank but are much harder to find used.

would a tank angled in the corner look good or be tacky?

Looking at 150 gallon or larger! Thanks in advance!!!

Thank you in advance!

Mine is a 6ft 180g in the corner. If I could do it again, I would move it over so I could work/clean/see on the left side too. Angled on the corner might look funky unless in a very spasious spot. Here's mine.

@TangLvr I would put a tank in the corner like @CookieRdReef did. I hear what you’re saying about seams. But if you put one diagonal across the corner I think you’ll end up with a lot of wasted space with a 150.

You would have about 3ft from the corner seam of the wall to the back of the tank. Much more if you left space on either end to get behind the tank. That's a lot of wasted space.
