Used one of these as my air filter canister. Had a fish die now 3 days later, but all others seem fine.

Is this considered aquarium safe?

I dont see why they would cause a fish to die unless it ate some

Those are totally safe if they are all that is there.

I assume it's all that's in there. Ikea selling it, and it is to hold food. Doubt they would dare skip toxic plastics, right?

Likely just an old fish. She should have been dead a year ago
