Hey everyone just wondering if there’s any reef aquarium safe paint and sealer I can use? I’d like to paint some pvc pipe with Christmas things for the holidays! Pic to just show off my tank ☺

I don’t have any yet! I’d purchase some for the purpose of painting it for the holidays as the rest of the year I enjoy the natural look! Thank you☺️

So youll be putting the pvc in the tank later on? Ive seen people use pvc pipe and glue rocks to the outside of the pipes so it makes the pipe look more natural while having a hole that things can swim inside such as eels

Yes it will be going in later and that’s a great idea, I assume it would work with live rock pieces aswell, the fish love the tunnel I have built with the rock structure so I’m sure they’d like that aswell

I’ll look into them! I’m sure I could spray it on paper and use a brush for the smaller detailed idea I have, thank you!
When I've applied spray paints with a brush, I spray it into a small condiment cup or other disposable cup and can dip the brush in. It's worked very well for me as far as brushing with spray paint.

I've also read many times that Krylon fusion for plastics is the way to go for any painted objects inside the tank. Haven't personally used it myself inside a tank yet though.

Krylon fusion for plastics has been discontinued. I purchased the newer can "all in one" but I'm researching to assure is aquarium safe before I use it.

I can attest to the PlastiDip on the inside for freshwater. Not sure about salt. It also comes as a dip and has a create your own color package. I made green. I did let it dry cure for 2 weeks and then hot water soaked to cold 3x.

I have had i up for 4 months, adding plants then critters in phases to test. Fancy guppies and pond snails are breeding without deformities.
