Aquarium safe paint ?

Hello I have just built a canopy for above my aquarium and I painted the inside behr semi gloss white . and I realized that water ( condensation may form and drip into the aquarium.
is behr safe or is there a paint that is safe for aquariums ?

Unless you’re submerging it, I’m sure you will be fine. If you have that much condensation, you have bigger issues

First I would recommend that you add ventilation to your hood to prevent condensation. Additionally, consider using oil-based/acrylic vs. water-based/latex paint. Good luck!

vent or eventually the substrate will get so moist that the paint will peel off.
