can anyone id the rock below? Is it reef safe?

It was given to me when i purchased a used tank, i soaked it in muriatic acid to removed all the dead coralline algae and dead worms.

I googled search but, I could not find anyone selling rock like this.

if it was used in a tank with no problem it is probably reef safe however you can get new rock or soak in freshwater or cure it in saltwater to make sure its ok... the color looks weird to me is all

The bottom is lace rock, top looks like lace rock to me also. It is used mostly in freshwater tanks. I have seen it used in salt, also. I wouldn't use it because I have seen some copper in some lace rock.

any questionable decisions like this... i never risk. it's not worth the stress down the road.

i wouldn't use it imo

Thanks for the replays

They are both the same rock the bottom is one is wet. I don't think I'm going to use them. I have other pieces that appear to have a copper colored line running through them

Thank you
