Aquarium Stand Help (Tideline 47.5g)

Alright this is probably the dumbest question to ever be asked on here but I recently got a Planet Aquarium Tideline 47.5 G Aquarium secondhand and the stand is a bit short.
The tank measures 36.5 in x 18.5 in. It accommodates for the 36.5 inches but there’s a .5 overhang across the back. Do I ditch the stand or would I be fine? Pictures below
