Hey reefers,

I am going with the waterbox 15 gallon build but i dont have a sturdy. enough desktop to hold it unfortunately ... does anyone know of a website with affordable stands or cabinets that will hold my waterbox 15g peninsula ? something small and compact to hold the tank with maybe a cabinet underneath ? Thanks for your input!

Why not just go with a waterbed stand? do you have a budget? 15 gallons is about (with all the stuff inside) 200 lbs.

I looked on their site they do not sell a cabinet for the 15 gallon peninsula .. any links ? looking for something small affordable and compact to just hold it up safely

Have you considered building your own? Couple 2x4s and some screws. Face it with finished plywood for the clean look.

Almost any table will do for a tank that size. You have to remember that you are figuring not only total weight, but also load per square inch. A tank that size will have a footprint of approximately 200 square inches. or a load of approximately 1 lbs/sq". If you (or a friend) weighs in around 200 lbs, sit on it and wiggle around.. Does the table move with you or sit rock solid? If the latter, go with it.. if not, pass.

According to the site you can use either

Having said that - I don't see how the Peninsula 15 would fit on the PW 1818 - but that is the cabinet that is listed as an option under the tank. PS - the weight is not that high - I would guess you could easily find a cabinet (ikea?) that would hold that weight.

thanks everyone for the suggestions.. im not to good at carpentry lol.. any websites that sell mini peninsula stands at all for reasonable prices ? maybe with a cabinet underneath as well would help with storage and my ATO bucket
