So I have been having some issues at the LFS with getting advice on fish. My current stock in my 125g tank consists of:
2 Clarkii clowns
1 domino damsel(I can’t catch him and he’s super tiny)
1 engineer goby
1 diamond spot goby
1 urchin
1 hammer coral(plan on putting more coral in)
And I don’t know how many random snails and hermits.

So I wanted to do a semi aggressive tank, but like I said the LFS is just pushing random fish on me.

So what are my options for fish based on what I have? Like I said I would like to go semi aggressive. Was thinking a small eel and a dwarf lion, but not sure if they would be a fit or not.

Those options would work, as would soldierfish, blue hamlet, red coris wrasse, blue throat trigger.

Why did you want a semi aggressive tank? If you wanted that surely there were species that drew you.

Bursa trigger fish. He can be aggressive but most of the time he looks like he wants foood and will look straight at me for feeding him,

I’ve just had an interest in some of the more aggressive fish. I’ve always wanted a lion, but this is the first tank I had big enough for one. I have a lid so I’ve looked a little into the eels and watched them at the LFS and really enjoy them. I’m not stuck on going semi aggressive, but do enjoy a lot of the fish options there are with it.

I browsed a couple websites last night after work and found a couple fish I like. I do intend to add more coral, so I have to be careful based on that with what fish I choose. I don’t need all of them, but what are opinions on these:
1 Leopard wrasse
1 mimic lemon peel tang
1 eel(I’m going to need advice on this one)
1 dwarf Lion
1 flameback Dwarf angel

My coral will all be LPS or lower light coral most likely for now. I’ve found it easier to care for and still has options that look nice.

Those would work, though the angel may nip at some corals.
