I am having problems with my hang on over flow box, anybody know anybody who drills tanks that I don't have to empty it and take it 3 hours away? I don't have another tank to really put all my stuff in so somebody that could come to me would be great

I think you are going to need to empty it. You are going to want to keep water flowing over the hole you drill and I cant imagine doing this in a stocked tank.
As far as your current hang on overflow, what issues are you having? If its breaking siphon you can use an aqualifter to constantly pull water out of the top of the U tube. That way if there is ever a bubble it will pull the air out and keep the siphon stable. Aqualifters are 10 or 15 bucks I think so its relatively inexpensive. If you need more details let me know.

Oh yeh I want going to leave it stocked just can't afford to keep everything in tubs for a few days waiting for it to get done. But I've never heard of them and there problem I'm having is getting the air out of the you tube. Every few days I am having to tear down my over flow all together and pull water back through it

Here is a link: Aquarium Kits, Aquarium Care Products, Freshwater & Saltwater Aquarium Kits, Power Heads - Tom Aquarium Products
They would work perfect for you it sounds. I used the manufacturer link, but any of the local aquarium stores should carry them as well as online vendors.
If you get the hanger with it you can hang it on the side of the overflow and run a flexible airline tube from the intake up into the U tube of the overflow. make sure it ends at the top. then the exit put an airline tube from it to the inside of your external overflow box. Problem solved.
If you need a hand with the setup feel free to give me a call and maybe I could come by and help but its not too hard and I am sure you can figure it out. (571-225-9660)

I had issues at one time with a undrilled tank almost overflowing with a stand overflow box NO aqua lifter. I Ended up buying a CPR overflow that is set up to use a aqua lifter that it came with. Its not a single tube but a very wide area for water flow so small air bubble dont really affect it. Look around should be able to get for right at $100 . Best money spent and didnt ahve to risk any of my corals when moved

I think the tank will more likely to crack n break if you drill a stock tank due to pressure n can harm the stock from heavy vibration. Hope u find wat u need

I have a buddy who drained his tank just low enough for him to drill it. The tank inhabitants made it fine. Not something I would do personally. Just saying its been done successfully.
