Aquascape and coral placement help

Hi all,

I was looking at my tank today, and I realized I have a large area in shadow from how I've set up my rock work. The large rocks are very stable and I love the look, but I'm worried no chorals are going to be happy in the shade. I had moved my fox coral over to the brighter part of the ledge and it completely closed up and didn't open back up until I moved it back to the sand where it is right now.
Does anyone have any suggestions of corals that might be happy in that place, or should I totally redo my rock work?

What kind of lights do you have? I have radions and I place LPS in areas with lower light. No issues. Also, you could put non-photosynthetic coral like tubastrea in those areas.

If you elect to redo the aquascape, and I'm not by any means suggesting you do so, here is a nice thread on scaping, along with numerous samples. Might give you some ideas.

The 2nd thread below is a great cheat sheet on lighting/flow requirements for corals. You can choose some of the lower light corals for the shadowed areas.

Oops, I meant to put that info. I have a 40b with two AI primes over it. Thanks for those links, I'll check them out! I am really happy with my current aquascaping, so if I can find some guys that will be happy there, that will be great!
