I am wondering if anyone can direct me to someone who is devoted to and build's custom aquascape's. I live in New Jersey, I have a specific idea of what I am looking for, just don't have the time and expertise and don't think I want to experiment, since I have never done this before. I am willing to pay $$ for the right design, since I understand how important this part of the build is for my tank.
Thanks

I honestly thought I was never able to do it. I almost paid someone, but after going back and fourth in my head, I ended up doing it myself.

It’s honestly not hard. I mean, if you want to pay someone you can!

Highly recommend one of the best @Rachid Stoury from NYC.

Intently listens to your goals and wishes and design/builds incredible aquascapes.

If no luck here, you could ask a local "maker space" club for someone, or, an art sculpting group. Just tell them you want to use rock instead of their normal materials.

Pay for my travel, lodging and meals and I’ll come do it for an hourly rate.

dang if I had the time I’d fly to New Jersey and do it for free. Aquascapings the best part

I create custom scapes but I am not currently shipping and about 12 hours minimum from you. You are welcome to PM me if you decide to build your own and I can give you some tips.

I would have never thought I would have been able to build an Aquascape when I was doing mine. I thought that i would mess up and be stuck with it forever. Turns out, that didn’t happen. I bought some rocks randomly without any playing around at the store and played with them in my tank for an hour or so before I got it perfect. I think if you get someone to do it for you, you may not be satisfied with it because their image of a good Aquascape is different from your image. Aquascapes are one of those things that falls under “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”. But if you don’t want to just dive right into it like I did, you can go to the LFS and they’ll most likely let you play around with some of them for a while before you buy the rocks. Best of luck!
