Hello I’m currently building a 57g cube that is ready to be introduced to a nice aquascape.
I am planning on 90 degree overhangs and just weird rockwork with Key Largo rocks from Marco Rocks but nothing way too crazy.

STORY OF MY FAILURE:
•I used the E Marco 400 yesterday and it was a disaster.
I followed the instructions by mixing the powder and the liquid until a dough or clay like consistency and had trouble having it to stay on the rock.
I held each rock for around 15min but it continued to crumble down.
The “cement” was dried after 15min but after slight movement of the rock the “cement” instantly turned into chunks of sand.
The same thing happened after 4 hours of what seemed like the rocks were secured.

INFO I SEEK:
• I want to know either what I’m doing wrong or any better Reef safe cement or glue that is strong enough to hold rocks at a odd angle and sets somewhat quickly.
I probably won’t use zip ties or acrylic rods as it’s too much of a hassle for me.

Hi ,
I just finished aquascaping using reefrock 3dm it's more or less like macro rocks , joined the rocks using aquafrost stone fix .
I will advise cutting the rocks to make the surface flat where you want to join them else they won't join , I struggled for 3 days then tried this and its rock solid , joining them on surface which is uneven doesnt help .
When you cut it flat and join them make sure the cement consistency is thick and take help of someone to keep stirring it else it would dry very quickly , apply the cement and place your rock quickly , let it be there overnight .
Providing some pics for reference

Also on fixing it on odd angles I don't think the stone fix is capable of doing it , in my opinion you will need to cut small pieces and join them
