Hello I’m currently building a 57g cube that is ready to be introduced to a nice aquascape.
I am planning on 90 degree overhangs and just weird rockwork with Key Largo rocks from Marco Rocks but nothing way too crazy.
STORY OF MY FAILURE:
•I used the E Marco 400 yesterday and it was a disaster.
I followed the instructions by mixing the powder and the liquid until a dough or clay like consistency and had trouble having it to stay on the rock.
I held each rock for around 15min but it continued to crumble down.
The “cement” was dried after 15min but after slight movement of the rock the “cement” instantly turned into chunks of sand.
The same thing happened after 4 hours of what seemed like the rocks were secured.
INFO I SEEK:
• I want to know either what I’m doing wrong or any better Reef safe cement or glue that is strong enough to hold rocks at a odd angle and sets somewhat quickly.
I probably won’t use zip ties or acrylic rods as it’s too much of a hassle for me.
