Well as the tank gets ever closer to having water in it, I decided to tackle the aquascape tonight. Simple enough in design and the picture doesn't really show the depth and curve of it. Thoughts, feedback, opinions? Anyone see anything with this design I'm going to regret? Good space front and back for cleaning and plenty of cave and swim throughs for critters.

I going against poplar opinion:) throw some stick rock in there and build a bridge :)

Not bad, but keep in mind what corals you'll want to keep and design around that, if you can. my LFS has nice shelf looking branches which all plays well together.

Me, too on the bridge! I always start my aquascaping projects with two islands and then always end up going in and adding a connecting bridge. Adds another "swim through" for the fish and a great spot to place corals. :)

Yeah I wouldn't rule out a bridge but started with the pieces I had and nothing I had lent itself to being a bridge. Thanks for the feedback all getting closer and excited!

I've heard that sometimes a fish will claim an entire rock formation as its territory - but allow other fish of the same or similar species to inhabit a separate "island" nearby - and that a bridge between the two means . . . there can be only one.

FWIW.
