Hey guys what glue is best for aquascaping? Im trying to build an overhang.

the best is a marine cement- Check out Marco Rocks and look at what they sell.

I have also used a waterproof quick-crete in the past. That has worked extremely well.
you may want to peg the overhang with acrylic dowels to help support the weight

If you use a ton of it, epoxy stick works pretty well, it doesn't really bond with the rock though so you can't treat it like glue and just try to bond a small edge. When I put together my scape I used a good amount and made sure to spread the epoxy over the edges of the two rock and spread it into cracks and crevices as best I could.

Can the rock cure outside the tank? I have had good experiences with great stuff foam to bond rocks.

Thanks everyone you're awesome. The rock will be outside the tank for awhile but it will be wet still. Will be working fast so nothing dies

My tank is only a 150, but I made this arch with only thick gel superglue from BRS. It is very strong, and I found it easier to work with then cement. It takes a while to dry, though. I started with dry reef saver rock and let it mature in a trash can for several months after developing the structure.
