Hey guys starting my first nano tank soon. Tanks coming tomorrow so I’ve been trying a few aquascapes with the 40lbs of life rock I have. Tank is going to be the Red Sea Max nano which a 18 inch cube. Thoughts and suggestions? I feel like it’s going to be hard to have coral on the two rocks supporting the arch.

I like what you have going on with the arch. If you know about what corals your wanting to go with you can sketch it out on paper or on the computer with your coral placement choices in mind.

Yeah, I know what I want to do a mixed reef tank. Going to start with softies and lps and add some sps down the line. Mostly zoa/poly's and mushrooms for softies but want some torches, hammers, chalices, acan, and favia for lps. Sps just thinking about acros on the top.

I think it looks really good just like it is. The softies/lps can sit on the sand bed up against the rock. Zoas and mushrooms can be mounted anywhere (even covering the two rocks supporting the arch) so I wouldn't worry too much about finding areas for them. Acros on top :)

Thanks so much! Yeah, I might just go with what I have. Might also break some of the rocks to maybe get some smaller pieces and see if I can fit in a zoa garden lol.
