I am not a Lego Master Builder. I actually LIKE following the step by step instructions. So now I have a bunch of irregularly shaped rocks and they say “be creative”. Riiiiight. Please take a look at my first attempt in this 13.5 gallon peninsula tank and give me your thoughts/advice. Shots are from 1) front, 2) short end, and 3) top.

This is also my first saltwater tank so I’m thinking primarily softies.

I think the rocks is a big too high
It’s not the greatest picture. I had a pretty good video but I couldn’t get it to load. The black line just above the top of the rock in the first picture is 2/3 of the height of the tank. Is that still too high?

This was my problem in the beginning stage of my tank setup , I honestly did it with however I felt the most comfortable with setting up the rock ... have fun man no pressure and remember be patient

Sorry, not the best picture. Here's the structure we built in our tank, three pieces of dry rock with about 2' of sand. You should check out this Corey Willard's Fluval 13.5 channel I got some good ideas from his build. Keep us updated!
