Aquascape-screw up?

Alright long story short, last month i’ve just been all over the board for my aquascape thinking something just looks off…and keep putting my hands in the tank

as the wife says-do you really think the shedd aquarium guy is coming over to rate your tank…

so first picture is what is what…last pictures is what i have changed it to…basically removing some of the kenya trees and breaking up green mushrooms in middle to not just be a massive sea of mushrooms

part if the reason is worked cabbage leather lower and its so darn big trying to fit it in…and i just have never been one to just pile on rocks…

new pics stuff isn’t fully open but it does expose some more open rockwork

hate this hobby sometimes…

Plus with all the mushrooms they basically prevent any new coral additions in old layout
 
Looks good to me and you can always frag mushrooms with a razor blade. I simply let some of my corals "fight it out" when they get too big - seems like the natural thing to do.
Aquascapes change as corals grow or you move things around to add new ones - this dynamic is part of the fun of growing out a reef tank.
