Thank you for doing this. I always loved your Stax aquascape and it was very cool seeing how it comes together. I think I would have felt exactly how you did starting the siliconing along the back glass. My favorite part was you using the Reef Flakes to fill in the gaps. You used a straw for some of that, huh, how did those flakes taste? Needed some milk I bet. :)

Yes it was 40lbs per box. I used nearly every piece. I had maybe .... maybe 5lbs left over.

Your very welcome! Rev asked me to do a little write up in the Aquascape forum about this scape. :)

Well I must say that the filling in part with the Flakes was messy! I promise, no Flakes were harmed in making this scene!

So what’s next? What type of corals are you thinking about stocking? Fish? ..... Exotic fish for that beautiful tank?

Well I’ve done just about everything up to this point . Lol I’m thinking I want a lot of movement in this tank. With that in mind I’m looking soft / LPS tank. As far as stocking I’m thinking contrast! Bright blues and pinks will be on my list . With that in mind I have choices to make :)

I didn’t do the overflow for two reasons really.

1. I like the look of the reflection I get of the back of the rock work.

2. I loved the contrast between the black and the rock itself. :)
