Aquascapes aren't Just for Freshwater!

I found this tank online. When I first saw it I thought wow this is pretty cool. I posted a thread similar to this a while ago and not many people saw it so I am giving it a second chance. Also please show me your tank design.

The top of the tree is a bit all over the place, I would use 1 or 2 species only.

Ok which ones would you use? Mabey the green ones to mach the GSP?

i think the different varieties is what takes it up a notch. Awesome creativity to think that up.

I would use 2 tones of green / green and yellow / green and blue.

I have 15 tanks and I have been working on some of my aquascaping. I don't have a natural eye for these things, and it's taking a lot of research online. I have noticed that there is much more information on freshwater tanks, and particularly planted tanks, than in marine (and as in everything else there's hardly anything in brackish). It's unfortunate since the materials are so different in all of the environments. I've never thought about trying to recreate some of the planted tanks in a reef setup though - the picture is very inspirational - maybe even enough to get a new tank...

I've gone with the 'big mountain little mountain' look in a lot of mine, but I'm trying to get more creative. It's easy for someone like me with no sight for proportions and it satisfies the rule of thirds very easily. One of my big m little m reefs...

And a comprable design in one of my planted tanks (big sticks little sticks?)

That rockscape looks well balanced, but I wish you had 6" to 10" of free space to the left and to the right.

Thank you your the first to show of their tank. Also I do like the little m and big m.I tried to get as high in my tank as possible and I did a bridge.

Same here but I think it is also interesting with all green it would look closer to a reel tree.
