I've built a lot of aquascapes over the last 20 years of reefing and nothing has made things easier for me than E-Marco 400 cement. I posted a step by step photo sequence in my build thread so others can see how I created the structure in phases, starting with a foundation and building out. I used more than half the bag of cement for the aquascape in my Reefer 250. Here's a link to the sequence:

I like it. I'm a big advocate for keeping rock off the sand and allowing for better flow. What you have created should look very cool then the tank is mature.

Thanks Ron! I'm excited to get this tank going. My last tank was bare bottom so I definitely appreciate getting rock off the tank floor.

Here's a top down photo which shows some of the growing space available.
