Aquascaping accident

I was re-aquascaping my tank tonight during my water change and my Niger Trigger got trapped half way under a rock for like 10 second...should he be ok? I'm really glad I noticed before it was too late!

I think it should be ok - you should be able to tell pretty quickly if it was seriously injured.

Ok good...once I moved the rock he darted to the other side of the tank and hid

probably just freaked out, maybe shut the lights off or put on night time, so he can relax

I love niger triggers, they are such cool fish!

Are there any trigger fish that would do ok in a 29 gal Biocube? Or do they need a bigger tank.... Cause I really want one!

Most triggers are said to require a min tank size of 180 gallons.

Ran 3 triggers in a 135 just provide plenty of hiding
